Black Friday and Cyber Monday are known for kick-ass deals and the start of holiday shopping! While this can be good for a lot of businesses, I ask that you, as a consumer, reflect on your purchases and what your money is supporting. Please remember to support small businesses that match your values and that are making a positive impact. We're encouraging conscious shopping at Give a Damn Goods by offering 15% off with the code GIVING15 :) Here are a few more tips...
1) Ask yourself WHAT you're purchasing?
Use the sales to invest in high quality goods that are crafted to last. Discover brands with good values and support their work through your purchases.
2) Ask WHO and WHERE your money is going?
Who owns the business you're purchasing from? What are their values? Is it a small business or a giant corporation? We've all heard it...when you purchase from a small business an actual person does a happy dance. As a small business owner, I can confirm! By supporting small businesses you're supporting entrepreneurs, families, and more!
3) Don't be afraid to do a little research!
