Meet The Founder of Give a Damn Goods

Hi. I'm Emily. I founded Give a Damn Goods as a response to the growth of my conscious lifestyle blog, The Honest Consumer. Through The Honest Consumer I have been able to work with over 200 socially responsible brands, share the stories of social enterprises, spread the word of ethically made goods, and empower consumers for over three years.

After an organic growth in traffic, I decided to take the plunge and create a mini-marketplace featuring a few eco-friendly & ethical brands I love. AND launch my own ethical t-shirt line. I wanted to create socially responsible tees that made a statement and sparked meaningful conversation. I do the graphic design work for our ethically made tees and work with a local screen-printer in Seattle.

Give a Damn Goods focuses on affordable goods that make a difference, while encouraging consumers to shop their values. When YOU use your purchase power to make a purchase from Give a Damn Goods you're purchasing from a real person, small business, and supporting your values.

Thanks for Giving a Damn, listening to this ramble, & choosing Give a Damn Goods. It really means the world to me! Together we can make a difference! Really and truly your purchase power matters, if you keep buying, we'll keep finding awesome social impact brands for you to support!

I Am Enough Cuff

Social Impact: BRANDED Collective provides job training and employment to survivors of human trafficking in Nashville. Many victims of human trafficking are BRANDED; their captors physically mark them with a number or symbol. The BRANDED Collective stands against this brutal practice. Each BRANDED item is stamped with an initial and a number. The initial belongs to the survivor who made your cuff. You can read her story on our website. The number is your unique number in the Collective. You can register this number and send a Message of Hope to our survivors. View all BRANDED Collective jewelry here.

Product Description: This phrase was picked by our survivors as a reminder to you that you are special. These three simple words have helped them get through some very dark days, helped them combat the lies that they were not enough. May we all remember that we are in fact worthy, we all have great value, and we truly are ENOUGH. Bracelets bend to individual wrist size. Cuffs are 1/4 inch wide and 6 inches long, and are available in aluminum, brass or copper.
